Pry up the dash. You will see the red light where your alarm light is. Right next to there is a the sensor that detects the sunlight. I stuck a 2.2k resistor in there,they are $1.00 at radio shack. Just bend it and stick it in there and boom no more autolamps.

These are the instructions I used for both my '98 Camaro and my '00 Trans Am. Very easy, works perfect. It lists a way to either disable auto headlights only, or disable auto headlights and DRLs.

That site is a way to do it but my way is easier
I'll take pics only takes 1 min and you dont have to remove anything but pry up the dash where the center defogger vent is.
