Default using 2 spares for runners at the track?

any one thought about using 2 spare tires on the front to act like skinies?
i was talking with a guy with a 04 gto and thoes spare tire/rims dont look 1/2 bad and we where wondering if it would be ok or to stay away from that idea

Seen this before. The steel wheels weight about as much as the stock aluminum wheels and the tires are NOT rated for speeds above 55mph! They are TEMPORARY use tires and say right on them not to exceed 55mph. I've seen a few rednecks do this on older cars at the track. I hope like hell they put different tires on the rims. If they didn't then the tech guys really suck!

the spare tire rims on a gto have 5 spokes and are gloss black imo look goot, who sells skinny tires that have a higher speed rating

GTO rims won't work on your car though. They're the wrong bolt pattern techincally.

spend 200$ on true drag runners or 2000$ on a smashed front end from a collision with a wall at the end of the track?
