Default 2002 Camaro SS SLP

I was just approached to buy an 02 SS real SLP car. The car is Black with tan leather. It has about 30k on it. It has headers, and the factory SLP center mount exhaust. The car is a 6 speed with a spec clutch. The only glitch is that the car sustained front end damage in an accident. The car will need air bags, dash from the bags blowing, windshield, Core Support, fenders, bumper, hood, left headlight, the rear quarter has a dent about 3" around that's not deep that will need to be reparied, the back bumper is scuffed but just needs paint. The frame is pushed back about 2" on the drivers side that will come out with a pull. Of course the car will need a lot of miscellaneous $hit. Plus it has a salvage title. The car was beautiful and it is a 35th SS real SLP car. What is a ballpark figure that I should offer him. I don't have a digital camera so I can't show pix. I just need a ballpark estimate. Sorry for the long post. Thanks

They are all SLP cars. There is no special 'real' SLP SS. They all went there to get the hood and spoiler installed. Some got other Y2Y options installed and some did not depending on how the car was ordered. All 02s got the 35th plaque on the dash. Since it's black, it's not even aniversary SS. It's just a wrecked SS.

I wouldn't offer any more than 8k for that car. Not only is it a LOT of work, but it's going to have a salvage title that goes with it

I wouldn't even offer that. Frame damaged cars are always iffy.

If you can buy it for about half the value of the good parts and have a place to store it, buy it and store it until you see what the future value of these cars will be.
