Default 99 camaro alarm problem

Ok guys not sure if this is the right place to put this but,.... My girlfriend goes to go into work today, she has a 99 V6 camaro and when she tries to lock the car the alarm will go off, like the horn beeps twice then stops, then beeps again twice like every 5 seconds. And essentially she is unable to lock the car because of the alarm going off every 5 seconds, did she accidently do this or could there be an electrical problem?? Im not too familiar with camaros becuase i have an 03 cobra, but dont judge me!! haha

Usually when the alarm goes off just after arming it means the shock sensor is bad, it's in the spare tire area on the wheel well - try disconnecting it and see if it stops. You can also try turning the sensitivity **** down. She can still lock the car with the manual switch or key until you get it figured out.
