98+ OEM ground effects, front spoiler
I am looking into buying a 99 Z28 with OEM ground effects. The only thing is, the right little front spoiler part of the ground effects is missing. Where would be best to find a replacement? How hard are they to install? And how much do they usually run?

They're not hard to install, but you better hope you align it right the first time. There are metal clips which are riveted to the front bumper. The GFX rest on these clips, and are also held in place by plastic retainers underneath and in the inner wheel well. If they are installed at the wrong height, then the bottom of the GFX will not be parallel with the ground and/or might not look symmetrical with the other side.
If you install it wrong, you need to find a way to hide the old rivet holes and retainer holes. GM retail on both front pieces is around $500, unpainted. At one point in time GM cost was $160 each. A body shop replaced mine when I got whacked a few months ago and they didn't line them up right. Still undecided on what I want to do with it.
