Just behind the Y-pipe there is a crossmember. Mine is bent. Does anybody know if there is an after market replacement?

The trans crossmember really doesn't do anything except hold the tranny up so any replacement part would be fine. Try some of the sponsors on here.

The one that holds up the tranny or the tunnel brace? If it's the tunnel brace, put in a DS safety loop.

I have a stock tunnel brace somewhere in the garage.

Default Thank you for answering...

I bought 1999 SS #705 in January. As far as I can tell it hasn't been modified. I have a lot of plans and it's going to take some time. I'm trying to make it right for now. The only problems I can find are a broken battery tray and the bent up tunnel brace.
The first thing I bought was the skip shift bypass from SLP. How annoying is that feature?
I have no history on the car and I'm researching locally.

Thanks, Carl
