Default cars acting up

quick question

I have a 98 camaro 3.8 as a dd and its running like **** right now, for instance when i put the car in reverse it seems to buck a little bit and the rpms jump around from say 900-1100 rapidly. it also does the same thing in park and in drive, only when taking off or slowing down to a stoplight, once you get going id say above 15 mph it drives fine. any ideas on what is causing this, no ses light or anything.

thanks

Clean your battery terminals, take a look at your plugs. If both are fine and your cars got alot of miles, try to see if you can get your gas tank pumped out, you may have water.

Have your throttle position sensor and mass air flow sensor. If either of those is bad it could cause your problem. Also has your transmission been rebuilt?
