Default biggest possible motor in an 82 z28

as the title says whats the biggest we can go. The car wont be a dd and the woman wants it carbed lol We had a 454 block but the guy gave a twice what we payed him to get it back lol

I have a Aluminum 526 Big chief motor and a 632 Dual cab, tunnel ram with 2 kits on it... small block 500hp= 12mpg with carb Big Block 500hp= 7mpg..

its just gonna be a weekend car so mpg doesnt matter too much. Where did you find headers for it, all i could find them for was a 454

How much cutting are you willing to do. Don't think a big block will fit w/o cutting out the inner fender wells.

that would be insane lol i dont think the lil lady could handle that, i think a 572 is the biggest we'd go if possible without much cutting

keep in mind shes only 5' tall so not too much can be up past the hood lol

IIRC a 572 is a tall deck and should be the same physical size as a 632

i like that 540 with the saturday night special, its way cheaper and only has a little bit less hp. 632 with 1000 hp lmao, if i had 21,000 id put it in there and just say it had 400hp, suprise hahaha

I think all big blocks have the same external dimensions whether its a 454 or a 732.

na i thought 540s and down are short decks and 572 and up are tall, but i could be wrong im still learning
