Last year when I was looking for that exact car, they were running about 8 - 10 k, with a few less miles. If I saw that one for that price, I probably would have bought it. I think it's fair.

i thought it was pretty good. all matters how fast he sells it he said he not trying to hard. reason is that i would like to pay cash. i have great credit and stuff to get another loan etc. its just sometimes i dont trust myself with money and cars. like if i got loan for 6k then at the end of july when i have around 6000 id prolly buy something for the car etc. rather just pay cash you all know what i mean? if its ment to be its ment to be i guess.. these are jus the 285 hp lt1's isnt it?be sweet if it was the lt4 but i tink they only in 96 97 ss's

yup 285hp. I got mine for 5000 with 68k miles on it :-p. Got lucky, the guy didnt know what he was talking about, so that was my key to start talking him down. But yea 6k isnt bad, I would try to get it down a little less. It also depends on the condition of the ride. You will have to look in person and dont get excited. Even if the body looks flawless still get under the car and look for oil etc. Definitely drive the car and get on it to make sure it runs clean. If it comes out cherry jump on it. I know some z's still running like new w/ 170k miles on them. So if its clean inside out and under and runs w/out any hessitation, stuttering etc then go for it.
