LS2 swap..help?? lol
well to start off i gotta 1980 chevrolet camaro and the 84 305ci smallblock decided to take a dump on me.
oh well i was upgradin anyways.
well to continue im gonna fix all the problems as far as body, trim, suspension, paint, etc.
but i wanna put an LS2 in it.
i know ill need a wiring harness and an ECM
i think i found a kit from painless wiring(excluding ECM)
but will it work for my car?
im gonna eventually turbo the car so i figured fuel injection would be best for this
im open to any suggestions
but list of known upgrades.
8 point roll cage
corbeau racing seats
5 point harness
T56 swap
moser 12 bolt rear end with 4.10 gears and posi(disc brake upgrade when wallet allows)
pearl white paint
flowmaster 40 series exhaust with cutouts
eh same ol same ol
but yeah lemme know if you know how to make this swap work!
PM me or whatever idc =p

I would go with a FAST stand alone system for that set up. It will be for the motor and tranny only. That way you can still run your factory harness for lights and stuff. It is pricey, but well worth it. They will provide you with everything you need including a PCM tuned for your application. Then, I would by LS2 edit to be able to tune it yourself with a laptop. ( If you have one) That way you can keep multiple tunes for different applications you plan on running in the future. Hope this helps.
