Default What could I build with a $20,000 wallet?

I'm curious as to what I could build for an LS1 Fbod with a $20,000 wallet. Including the car, the mods etc. What do you think?

by the way the above is build to be around 600rwhp with a 500hp shot.

Now, for around $16,000 to $18,000. you can do a very nice Head/Cam combo, with FAST intake, American Racing header and ORY, Built trans of your choice with stall and t-brake, full rear supension and built rear-end. All installed and tuned for a good 575hp/ 450rwhp car the will lift the front wheels off the ground.

Give the money back, paying off the loan. Then save that $450 a month and slowly mod your car like everyone else. Taking out a loan to mod your car is not a financially wise choice.

When you get a loan you have to pay interest. Even if he gave the money back he would still owe a good amount of interest so there is absolutely no point in paying off a loan right after you take one out. He would just be in the hole thousands of dollers for nothing.

Not to mention that would do absolutely nothing for his credit, if he were to pay the loan off quicker it would help. Say for instance his payment is 450 dollers a month, and he payed 560 a month on it until he payed it off, he would build his credit up.

I used to take out loans and pay interest JUST to build my credit.

Whatever you do dont take the money back.

most loans you pay interest for the time you have the money borrowed, if this is the case, having $20,000 @ 4% interest will cost you $450 month for 48 months. (daily compounded interest)

If you pay if off in 1 month (30 days) , you will have paid the $20,000 plus $95 approx in interest

If you pay the same loan off in 48 months, you would have paid approx $4524.48 in interest. For a total payment of $24524.48

The loan is a $25,000 loan @ 2%. I need a car and I feel that it is a dumber decision to spend $15,000 on something I'm not really crazy about at 8% than $25,000 @ 2... besides I will be graduated college and a commissioned officer in the Army at that point. $25,000 to mod a car is not the point of the loan, I could buy a stock car in that price range and it would mean the same besides actual book value of the car.

I'll sell you mine for $8,000. That leaves 12 more to play around with.
