Ok, I may be way off the mark here, but I was under the impression that the 98-99 z28's or SS's had the side mirrors painted black and the 00-02's were painted the same color as the car?????

The v6's were painted the body color of the car right???

IIRC:

1993 to 1999 Camaros had black side mirrors standard

1997 to 1999 had an option for body colored mirrors

2000 to 2002 Camaros had body colored mirrors standard

Oh and I should clarify, this is applicable to V8 Camaros only . . . the V6's were different
