Default 5.7 to 5.3

Ive got a 93RX7 that Im in the middle of doing a LS1 swap.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I might be taking a new path with my Rx7. Ive got a stock bottom end ls1 with an MS4 cam. Im trying to make the decision if I want to keep that motor, and spray a healthy shot of nitrous. Or sell the motor, and do a FI 5.3.

Few questions.

Could I use my PCM from my LS1 to work with the 5.3?
If yes, what modifications would I need to do to the PCM?

Also, being on a budget, Id be flipping the truck manifolds and using them. Has anyone done this?

Also im opening to opinions on if you think it would be too much trouble, and too much money to do this.

And sorry if this question has been asked, I tried a search.

Thanks

Flipped truck manis won't fit in an FD without sectioninto your frame rails. If you want to turbo an LSX FD you'll need some custom manis.

I would, but if I sell the motor, Ill be able to buy a 5.3 for dirt cheap and be able to FI it with the money left over. Im on a budget so thats the only reason
