Default 1 gen 350 swap into LT1 car?

I am looking for info on swapping a 1st gen carb'd small block into an LT1 car. I am making this a pure bracket car for my wife and no I dont want to just keep the LT1 stuff. I have a fully forged 355ci setup already completed and doing me no good on an engine stand. I will be going to a TH350 setup as well. Can someone point me in the right direction for all the info I will need?

I read around that the motor mounts and headers should be the same. I also know the Distributor should be a pain in the ***....I am already picking up the new crossmember. Do I need any other suspension parts before I can lay the new set up in?

I think its doable. Use the small distributor or put the motor forward some with mount placement

you could run a front mount distributor drive. Good luck

Problem is the distributor will be a pain in the *** to get to and impossible to remove with the engine in the car. Id just throw the A3 behind the LT1 and put some laughing gas to it. Should make a reliable & fast combo that needs next to no attention.
