Can i run a lt1 clutch pedal with ls1 clutch?

Can i run a lt1 clutch pedal with ls1 clutch? I took my 97 lt1/t56 combo out of my 97, and put a ls1/t56 combo in, but left my stock pedals.
My swap is all done minus the clutch issues i am having. This thing has been bled every way possible, no air left in there at all. All parts were new, spec 3 was shimmed.
I just a few thread where people said the pedals were indeed different. That would explain my disengagement problem, it grabs off the floor and wont let me shift at high rpms.
maybe the pedal difference is not allowing enough travel?
