Default 4.3 to a 5.3 2000 Blazer

I'm hoping I can post this thread and not get dominated by "use the search button posts" haha.

Well I've been looking at an engine swap for my 2000 blazer. the 4.3 has done me proud for 130,000 miles but 15mpg and 165hp has left me wanting more. I searched car-parts.com and found out that I could snag a 5.3 from $300-$500, and I've heard rumors of swapping in a Z06 cam and ls6 intake and making a ballpark range of 330-350hp and about the same for torque. Which is a HUGE gain from the faithful 4.3. As a college student this will be a big time budget build and I was curious if the swap can be done for under $1500 including the harness. I also don't have the tools for notching any of the frame so an LS2 pan would be in order. I'm hoping that if this swap goes successfully I'll be able to pick up mpg's and a solid chunk of power. The 4l60e in the blazer will mount up to the 5.3 no problem? or will the bellhousing need to be modified? aaaaand finally what is the weight difference between the 4.3 and 5.3? Thanks for all your help guys

I know this isn't a new innovative swap, but could I get some help?

I think that 1500 will be tight. The motors on car-part most of the time do not have the belt acc. or wiring and PCM.
