dont be silly, put the 5.7 hemi in it. i just put a ls motor in my 99 wrangler, but if there were ALL the parts to basically drop in a hemi i would have gone that route. everything is done for you with the hemi. even the exhaust. it wont be worth it to put the ls series motor in it.
this is my personal opinion. and if i ever sell this one and buy a newer wrangler i will put a hemi in it. PERIOD

LS in my Wrangler TJ as well - and definitely don't regret it. But I agree that if I had a JK, I'd definitely do a hemi swap. Just seems to go with the theme better. And yes, it won't be cheap.. all of these swaps nickel and dime you to death

Oh man , I was thinking the same thing. I just did a 6.1 HEMI in my 71 DEMON , Let me tell you it aint cheap !!! Electronics are 3 times as much as LS engines. If I had to do it over again I would have done a LS engine in my DEMON.

AEV is big on the Hemi swaps. May want to browse their forums for pointers, etc.. They can also do the install too if you desire. Or may have conversion parts to do it yourself.

Also, as suggested, Hotwire makes some killer aftermarket harnesses for the hemi engine. They can also graft your OEM Jeep harness to it to retain all the security, cruise, etc if you want..
