Default Got my LS1 started in the Gt6

I finally got the LS1 up and running in my 1969 Triumph Gt6. Runs awesome, I basically rigged the electric to run, so now I have to go back and redo alot of small things in a more permanent setup, but I am thrilled. I'll post a video hopefully tommorrow, I have a few things to fix, a leaking electric waterpump being number one, but that's a small price to pay to have the excitement of a running engine to keep me going.
Stay tuned.

Great to see it's going well. Looks like a lot more modifications than my vette needs. What did you end up using for a rear end?

Moser M9, with 3.70 gears and a TruTrak diff. way beefier than I need but one less thing to worry about, plus it looks pretty cool.

Sweet, if you get out by Ofallon, drop by.
My LS is still on the garage floor waitimg for a trans.
BTW, what's the total weight of the car now? I'm guessing you're near the top of the hp/weight ration conversions on this board.

Ofallon Mo? My wife works out that way, I'll have to come out sometime when i get it on the road and it gets warmer. Dunno about the total weight of the car now, I need to borrow some scales sometime. I am shooting for 2000lbs with 2200 being my upper limit, once everything is done, i.e. interior, etc. I'll get it weighed and dyno'd to see what hp/lb I am at.
Good luck with the trans finding

I like the radiator too, I just hope it's enough when it gets hot this summer, it's a Griffin Scirocco double pass rad. It appears they do quality work.
