Default turbo LQ4 4L80E mustang build

I decided to change directions with my car. The car is a 1995 Mustang GT 5 speed. I pulled the 408w I had in it and sold it. I scored a 2002 LQ4 and 4L80E tranny with harenesses for $750. I bought a QA1 4.6 k-member with a-arms for $180, 60mm jgs wastegate and 56mm BOV $625 for both, borg warner s475 turbo $550, pro products intake with rails $225. I think thats a good start for now. I still have parts to sell from my old combo. I'm gonna do a stock rebuild on the motor with a big cam and flipped manifolds running on e85.

I thought i would update this thread. since my last post I've got a few things accomplished. I've repinned my factory truck harness. I was gonna run my megasquirt I had laying around, but my buddy talked me into running the stock pcm, so thats the route i'm going.
I've got the turbo mocked up

I had some millwrights at my work make me up some exhaust manifold flanges.
I finished up the crossover pipe on friday

Modify the one that comes with the motor. Very easy, just time consuming. Lots of threads on this.

You can get them to work, I went with all Autometer though.

header options?
Kooks makes swap headers $$$ though. Take 351W headers, cut off the flanges and weld on LS1 flanges. Do a search.

ODBII ability?
Wire in an OBDII plug in under the dash. Power wire, 2 grounds, and serial data wire from the PCM, very simple.

if you cant answer some of these its all good... i'm just looking to do something else other than keep this h/c 2v gt..

Did you have any trouble fitting the 4l80e in the tranny tunnle?

I know everyone that does this swaps k members also, are their any issues with using the stock k member and just modifying the mounts?

The 4l80e fits great. I didn't have to use a bfh to get it to fit. The motor sits low and close to the firewall. As far as k members I'm sure the stock ones would work, but the tubulars give you more clearance for headers. Plus i got it for pretty cheap.

Thought I would update my thread. Got some time recently to work on the car. I welded in some subframe connectors. I welded my trans xmember mounts to the connectors and started the x member which is gonna be some square tubing.

I also started on the downpipe. I was gonna dump it in front of the front pass tire but decided I'm gonna run a single 4" back and Y it off and reuse my tailpipes. I will snap some photos after work and post them up as soon as i can.
