Default 1978 Nova with LS/T56

FIrst post but I've been a lurker for a while. Isn't the ft. and rr suspension on a 78 nova the same as a 2nd gen f-body?Just picked one up and thought hard about an ls engine/t56 in it. I know everybody has their own opinion about the best way to fit one. BRP kit? Plates with factory stands and mounts? Heard a lot of positive and negative about both. Think it would be less expensive to go with an evil-bay engine/trans or try to piece it together from PULL A PART? Thanks in advance for your help, advise, opinions. Dale

Welcome aboard. I don't have the tech info you're looking for, but I hope you do the swap, I'd like to see it done. (Used to drive my dad's '75 Nova quite a bit, so I've got some affection for that platform...)
