Default 4l80e shifter questions

I have been looking around for a good shifter for my 80e in my chevelle. I have not found any exact matches within a reasonable price. I bought a B&M shifter i heard all I have to do is moddify the pan bracket. Anyone done this before? Also what shifters are you guys running?

Any good 4 speed shifter should work. I went with a TCI Outlaw shifter in my 87 T-type with a 4L80e.

i have the B&M pro ratchet shifter in my 69 chevelle-it has the option of working with a 4 sp (i have a 400 in now, switching to a4l80e, man. shift) right now it double clicks out of park, but wont when it is used in a 4 sp-pretty simple to fab up a bracket to fit the pan, my biggest concern is the shift lever on the trans, that the ratio will match the shifter-the lever on the 400 has a diff hole for 4 sp
for 4sp use, so it should-my 4l80e has the longer shifter arm, i might switch it to a shorter one if it interferes with the exhaust-i orig mocked up the 4l80e
when i installed the 6.0, so i hope when i try this one it will fit
here is a pretty cool website that has some brackets at the very bottom might help you out
