Default SD parts on buying a transmission, any feedback?

I've been trying to get some info before spending $3k on a Richmond 6 speed OD transmission from SD parts. After more than a week, no response, and I'm on my 3rd inquiry.
Do they have no customer support?
I'm going somewhere else if that's the case.

I'm sorry that you are frustrated, but we can't tell you anything until Richmond tells us. We do not have the answer on hand to the question that you have asked, but we have helped try to find the answer. When we have an answer we will gladly call and let you know. We have not sold the exact transmission that you are inquiring on, so we do not have the specific details on hand. I apologize for the inconvenience.

1) Shifter location. I want the interior of my 68 vette to look stock. I could move the motor forward and modify the shidter, except for the ratio issue.
2) OD gear ratio, the T56 has very high 6th gear ratio (0.5:1). I have a 3.08 rear end that I went through last year. I need an OD no higher than about 0.7:1
3) I've got a mechanical speedo in my 67 vette that I want to maintain stock appearances.

The Richmond OD has stock shifter location, 0.76:1 OD, and mechanical speedo ourput.

BTW, I'm still waiting for a response from SD parts.

Kiesler engineering makes TKO kits for 68 vettes that should give you what you need, minus the 6th gear. They offer one with a 0.82 5th gear. Mechanical speedo. They also make bellhousings to bolt them to LS motors

He can do the Richmond swap for less then they want for their kit and end up with a better trans, with an extra gear

The TKO with the 0.82 5th only comes in the close ratio with a 2.6 something first gear.
I also want around a 3.27 first with the 3.08 rear end.
The TKO 0.68 OD will put me at 1750 rpm, 70mph in 5th.
The Richmond 0.76 OD will put me at 1950 rpm, 70mph in 6th.

Finally talked to Richmond, it's exactly what you're looking for and it has the long shifter. I could have it shipped at any time, they are available.
