Turbo Mercedes makes me think of one of my favorite movie scenes ever.

Should be nice to get some real power and reliability out of a an older German car without selling a kidney.

I started a thread at Benzworld.org. I love the reply about the kid who is attending a party at the "Yacht Club" with his parents. These guys are more civil than most, but it seems I have still ruined the car.http://www.benzworld.org/forums/r129...ain-sl600.html

Can you PLEASE shut a couple of those Benz-forum people up by explaining to them how easy it is to get silly NA power out of a 6.0L engine with just a few simple bolt-ons.

This "Chriswufgator" guy just doesn't seem to get it, and it's pissing me off.

When you finish it, you need to visit the "Chris" guy in person and leave a few black marks around his parents place so he'll remember you

Yea, he should probably go back to the yacht club with his parents. The Tech Tune guy has put lots of $ into his SL500 to get it to run 115mph. I thought you guys could sign up and talk some sense into them. I expected this from some, as i have run into this 2 times on RX7 , BMW and even Lincoln forums on swapped cars I have done.

I must admit, it is fun to get them going. Now if I would put the V12 in a chevy van, that would make them happy, although it would never run without lots of $.

I just read the MB world thread. You should remind that douchebag Chris that he's a 27 year old student mooching off his parents, which disqualifies him from any conversations referring to money or depreciation. When he gets a job and buys his own stuff, then he can talk.

Just an update with the headers and alternator relocation. Driveshaft is in and I am going to put the cam in this weekend.

x2! Why do they care so much that its a "van engine"? It's basicly an iron LS2 right? The one that comes in all sorts of GM vehicle? WTF I couldn't stand those guys. Although it would be fun to rile them up =] post some more pics over there of the headers and everything, it will be great.

Looks like you're moving.

No need to prove anything to the Benz guys. They know the V12 motor is inferior and it pisses them off. Just keep on doing what you're doing.
