Default 1967 camaro conversion

I am putting a ls motor in,and i am changing the accel pedal to cable from a 6cl car .Do i have to drill a hole for the cable to pass through the firewall? WES

The factory hole might be there for the 6 cyl or Z28 throttle cable; if it is it will be plugged and all you have to do is remove the plug and you are in business. If it is not then you will have to drill a new hole for the cable. I'm guessing that you will probably end up getting a lokar cable so you might want to get that first so that you can size the hole properly.

6cyl cars came with a rod attachment, not cable

I think some where cable,because the cross ram setup used a cable from a 6 cyl car . I think ???

6 cylinder and cross ram Camaro's were supposed to be cable. There might be some variation between 230's and 250's but I do know that the only first gen cable throttle assemblies are from I6's and cross rams.
