Default my newest creation 5.3.in a what??????

well i gt bored w/ the old tried and trued 350 tbi motor. which i feel was the biggest step in the fuel injection world to this day. unbelievable reliability!

but it must come when all kings step down. enter the ls based motor. the new king....which i am no stranger to. i originally had this for sale to build me a full out competition rig. but since i started the transformation.......i figured i might keep it and build me another rig.......... herre are few pics.

it is a full custom frame. only 23 inches between frame rails but i did find some manifolds to clear......barely

dana 60 front w/ chromolys
14-bolt rear w/ chromolys, shaved bottom
turbo 350
np 205 case
4-link rear
3-link front
stretched wb
mrw beadlocks
39.5 iroks
and alot more

pics below

Looks good, the motor looks like it belongs there. Are those factory jeep mounts with adapters on them or completely custom mounts?

Everything is custom. The frame, mounts, all of it.

How did you make them? Did you use a suspension bushing as the isolator? If so what did you use as the outer metal sleeve for around it. or did you find a tubular control arm and that is the end of it?

I was thinking of making some mounts like that for my brothers swap, but I couldn`t figure out what to do for the sleeve that the bushing pushes into because I don`t have a lathe so I can`t make one.

yes. i used leaf spring bushings. as far as the tubing. just get something w/ the same inside diameter as the outside diameter as the bushing. leaf spring bushings come w/ the sleeve insert (for the bolt) thats how i have always done all my buggys/jeeps

here is a pic of the flat plate. i just used a plasma cutter. (made a copy of another set i bought a while back) and used the ls mounts as a template for the block holes you need to countersink 2 of them. and used some sbc mount for templates for the frame mounts. i threaded those holes.

also if you are replacing a sbc. you need to remember that the ls motors are 1inch shorter. so you need to drill the holes 1 inch closer to the front of the block. that way it will move the motor back

That thing is sweet. I plan on on stretching the TJ and building up a set of 60's. How do you like the Iroks? Can't decide between them and rocker's.

What are your plans for the tbi?

i like the iroks. this is my 3rd set.

i am going to sell the tbi motor. here is what will come w/ it. it only has approx 20 hrs on it

it has the following

stock tbi w/ caprice inj. (a little bigger)
edelbrock tbi intake
ramhorn manifolds (close tolerances)
small edelbrock cam
serpintine belt w/-----
alternator
pw steering
water pump
balancer
fan
air cleaner
k&n filter
bling bling chrome valve covers
bling bling chrome oil pan
flywheel
distributor
coil
wires
plugs
all sensors will be included
one extra computer
one extra throttle body

it is a complete ready to run motor w/ fuel inj. all you have to do is hook up the wires. i have it on pirate4x4.com for 1300.00 but i will accept offers

Badass rig you've built.

I have a buddy who's using the tbi motor in his bulit YJ. He's having some issues with the injectors/fuel pressure regulator. Would you sell the TB separately, or want to keep it with sale of motor?
