Default Carb'd & front mount Distributor, fox swap is ALIVE

I have fought the good fight and won. FInally after countless hours working/sorting through setbacks and bad weather my LSX powered notch is alive. Here are some update pics and a link to a video

Wow man! Very interesting, first distributor LS1 i've seen. Just watching your video its looks like one of your spark plug wires is unhooked haha. The number 5 cylinder. I'm sure its not though. What are you doing for a fuel tank?

You should have painted it Ford blue and no one would know its an LS. Clean install.

Did you ever make that jig for the center bolt valve covers?

The wire you see hanging is the coil wire for the non-working coil. I had to bypass it right quick to get it running. As for the ford blue. I'm planning on building adapters for Ford valve covers to bolt in place of the LS units. then it will really look like its a SBF.

Front mount dist. is perfect for a ford gives it the look but not in a GM looks like the motors backwards. LOL

From the pictures it looks like you are running the zex plate system. If that is what it looks like, how do you like it? I have been wanting to try it for a while, but couldn't find any feed back on it.

honestly I just cranked it last weekend and haven't even put the rest of the N2O on it. From all the feedback I've hear its a great plate but the rest of the system isn't so desireable. That is why I'm piecing mine together. Taking the best from all areas and making it work. the only ZEX piece I'm using is the plate.

Right now I have an Edelbrock rpm kit which has good solenoids. I think I will order the zex plate and give it a shot. IIRC the zex plate can take NOS jets right?

When you buy the zex plate it comes with a jet reference guide for all the other kits that are out there to tell you which ones to use with whichever kit you are using

This is what I bought

Heads are stock and the cam is a Custom grind. I'm expecting 350-385 at the wheels since there is no paracitic loss and I have a cam/better flowing intake and long tubes.

Nope drivers lower. I'm modifying the BMR Drag race braket to work with the Iron Block
