Default LSx/T56 into 1983 Capri RS

Alright, I am going to be swapping in my mildly modded LS1 and T56 setup into my Capri RS. I know I can get the k-member from AJE, modify the stock ford driveshaft with a GM yoke at a local driveshaft shop, and use a Thunderbird T-coupe brake/clutch pedal assembly to use with the GM Hydraulic master cylinder.

Am I going to be able to use the stock LS1 manifolds, or is it required to use aftermarket tubular headers? I actually have a set of 6.0L manifolds on it right now.

As for the transmission crossmember, does someone make one and sell it, or do I have to fabricate my own? I know how to fabricate, however, access to the tools required is the problem. Would someone on here that has done that swap be able to fabricate one for me?

I am trying to do this with as little outlay of money as possible. I have pretty much everything I need to do the swap aside from the following:

AJE K-member with LSx motor mounts - $349
LSx Radiator - Budget Pick & Pull
Transmission Crossmember - $unknown at this time
Driveshaft - $150
Thunderbird Turbo Coupe brake/clutch pedal Assembly - Budget Pick & Pull
Gauge Panel - $unknown ... the one that costs $175 for this car, houses (2) 5" and (4) 2 5/8" gauges ... mine are (2) 3 3/8" and (4) 2 1/16" gauges .... I'm not buying new gauges, so I'll make my own custom panel.
X-pipe, high-flow catalytic converters, 3" bullet mufflers - $unknown
