Default Lq9 240z.

Here's my LQ9 240z.

Dynoed 420WHP 390Ft-lbs. Weight 2560lbs.

-LQ9 V8, LS6 heads, MS3 cam, LS7 clutch/pressure plate. 2.5" dual exhaust.
-T56 transmission.
-R200 diff/LSD
-(2)Kirkey Aluminum seats/harness's
-Dash with autometer gauges
-19gal fuel cell w/6 gallons
-Maxima rear disc
-Ground control coil over/koni 5 way adjustable shocks.
-Sport max 15x8 wheels w/235 tires.
-Reinforced subframe rails.
-Optima batt.
-Autopower Roll bar

I will be building this 260z with a 12 point cage, and a lot of chassis stiffening. Then I will swap a lot of stuff over.

For the engine, I would like to redo the alternator mount. Use an electric water pump. Get rid of the throttle by wire. Set up a megasquirt system, I suppose that will mean running MSD for ignition.

Any info on those things would be great.

Nice build. Here is my Z. I bought a complete 5.3L with low miles but i'm not sure if I want to sell it and go with the LQ9 instead..

Not sure the OP will be back. He hasn't posted in over 3 years.

Did you fabricate the motor mounts yourself or did you buy them?
