It's F-body

Why spend $25 on bolts when you can get 'em for next to nothing at your local hardware store.

M8 x 1.25, maximum drill depth is 16mm so add the thickness of your flange and that should give you an idea of how long the bolt needs to be

Bringing this from the grave because I bought a block with all the vette accessories in a box and no bolts. so the difference from f-body to vette is like 1/2' right? so would if I subtract about 1/2" on the bolts listed above for the vette brackets?
Thanks

I cant believe i never saw this post, i was at lowes and they have some mm bolts there. Maybe other stores like home depot or tractor supply may have some. I think lowes has m8, 10 &12 in 1.5. Not every bolt you need will be there but some will be. Might save you some money, if they have one thats too long, just cut it down but put a nut on it first before you cut it.

I bought a lot of bolts from a place called Allens Fasteners. You can google them. They have everything if you know what size and length. They also carry ARP individually. McMaster is good too, we use them at work. They don't have everything though.

That PDF link posted above is a great reference.

Default Excellent

This thread is further proof of the amazing wealth of knowledge the users of this site are willing to share.

Thanks for all the info/links. Makes swapping and fabbing on an LSx so much more manageable.

Default ac line bolt sizes

Great thread here. I'm needing bolt sizes to reinstall all of my ac components. I used this thread to get the bolt sizes for the compressor mounting bolts so that helped a ton. Now I need the small bolts that connect the ac lines to the condenser and accumulator. Any of you guys already know these sizes or know where I might could find them? Its for a 1999 pontiac trans am ws6
