Default Could you do a 4 eye LS1 EFI swap?

What differences would there be from a 87-93 swap? (keeping the LS1 EFI)

are we talking about a F-Body ?.. if so, your mixing the Gen 3 (82-92) and early Gen 4 (93+)..

And what would a "4 eye" swap be ? guess I am not up on that term!

But as far as swapping a Gen III/IV engine in, it is very well documented what is required of each.

I meant 4 eye stang since they come carb'd and everyone seems to use the 87-93s. I was wondering what the differences would be.

I would assume you would need a sumped tank. I dont know anything about the Stangs though. I couldnt imagine it would be alot different. I dont know what the 4 eye stang is though.

you could always get a tank ot of a nwer one so it would have apump in it, if you didnt want to mount an external pump. other than that its the same. you have to change the fuel lines either way cuz all those stang had the wimpy 5/16 lines so it doesnt matter wich car in that respect.

The tank is the same from 79-91, the internal pump/pickup carrier is different. Go to http://www.50resto.com and order the correct sending unit/pump bracket for the latermodel car, and you will be good to go. Or just sump your fuel tank for $50.

i used a sumped tank with an external aeromotive pump, but you can use a tank from an 87-93 foxbody. here's a link to my build: https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...p-project.html

I plan on running an internal pump with a Corvette fuel filter.
