5.3 carb going into a LT1 Alright so my LT1 went boom here a couple months ago. I was planning on rebuilding it, but a friend suggested just putting a carb'd 5.3 in it with heads and cam. He said by going carb'd i would eliminate the need for a wiring harness, and keep it simple. My question is, what all would i need as far as wiring and everything else i might need? I know this is really broad question, but i dont really know how to narrow it down. I'm newb to all this.
