Default Headers

Hi there,

I'm working on a total custom vehicle which is powered by a LS series engine. I was told it was maybe an LS6? It's out of a Vette, aluminum block & heads. I'm not terribly familiar with the LS stuff yet, but will learn some with this project.

Anyway, the engine is in a Triumph Spitfire with a totally custom built chassis. We need to find a set of headers to fit, unless there are some factory manifolds which may work.

The Corvette manifolds won't work as the collectors/outlets hit the frame. If the exhaust outlet was say 1 to 2 inches further back they would clear.

Most likely looking for suggestions on factory manifolds with outlets further back, or aftermarket universal shorty/block hugger headers.

thanks for any assistance.

Another option is to use SBF headers and just welding those headers to an LS1/LS6 exhaust flange as the port spacing is just about identical.
