Did the motor bolt right in? Did change out the bell housing? how much of the exhaust did you keep? Besides the tack and the speedo what else did you loose?

Be nice guys! That is a tough swap to pull off. The XLR is the most sophisticated car GM ever produced from a computer/electronic perspective. Mad props to Dod.

Any idea how you are going to get you engine computer to talk to your speedo and tach?

I can't believe to got rid of the shocks on your car. Those things are works of art.

I agree with you on the Engine Bay being little Dirty, but its been a long since i last took care of car you know, because of work and such. But youll just have to wait and see how it looks like in the end, and not judge now.

Since the Front shocks are working with XLR Pcm by electricity, we changed it to normal gas shocks Only the front shocks for now .

I need to get some pics up. I have a black on black 2006 with 10k on the clock. I'm currently building a Warhawk based LS7 in it. I would would start posting pics of everything now but the car needs a bath....

This car with an LS7 should be so much fun....

I love Doddi's car. I'm still looking for the right wheels for mine. Any thoughts on using the Camaro wheels on a XLR?

Doddi,

You may not want your magnetic/electric shocks, but I have it on pretty good authority that you can run the LS3/LS7 off a XLR-V pcm and keep the shock functional. Just food for thought....
