wiring cooling fans to e38 pcm in l76
I am working on a friends gen 4 l76 engine from a vz holden which we are fitting to a a 240z. I am modifying a factory harness from a holden ve or pontiac g8 and I am at the point of connecting the cooling fan wiring. My diagram shows only 1 cooling fan output pin 58 and I believe in the holden l76 this is a pwm circuit. I am unsure about how this output drives the fans? is there a fan controller or am I missing something?
I would like to try and run the fans from the pcm but i would like to see what others have done any help is appreciated
Thanks in advance

I wish that I had an answer for you (I'm not quite that far along yet), but here's a free 'bump' to the top, as it sounds like it's gonna be a hell of a lot of fun...
Any pics?

We just did a G8 harness and it used relays. If your Holden is pwm, then it's like the Corvette. They use a Siemens pwm module to control the single fan. You can either get the module and run your fan that way, or change it in the calibration from pwm to discrete control and use relays.
