Default LS1 swap in LT1 WS6 Ram Air

I plan on swapping a H/C LS1 w/ T56 into a WS6 trans am. My question is, can you still keep the ram air box from the LT1??

I wouldnt see why not if your keeping your original hood. Hood+airbox is more important than Airbox+engine. You may have to change the intake tubing though. I think the LS1 has a more round throttle body than our oval LT1s.

the factory ram air should supply enough air for a mild H/C 346 right?

It will work, I did the same thing on my 95' w/the ram air hood. The ls1 throttle body is 4" round, the LT1 is 4" oval, just use the LT1 intake ducting.
