Default ls4 into a 240sx

I found a crazy deal on an ls4 out of a monte carlo ss and I was wondering if a t56 will bolt up to it so i can run it in my 240sx or will it be too much of a pain? Ive also heard you can run a t5 trans with an s10 bellhousing and it would bolt up to an ls1 so i could run a t5 4spd dogbox, is this true?

thanks in advanced.

LS4 uses a specific accessory drive, shorter block etc etc.

Way to much difference and highly doubt it would bolt to a T56

I did a ls4 swap in my superlegger
http://www.customshop.org/html/sema/...2007_main.html

I did some research and was told by many that no other trans will bolt to it. the rear of the ls4 block was shortened
by 3/4" and the crank also. does not have the same bolt pattern either. hope it helps

I was referring to the swap itself.

No one, from what I have seen has done the swap. Only fiero people, who are bunch of a$$h0les from my experience. So I did it for fun and have 840 bucks in the swap. It's a junk yard build and its sturdy as hell

I bet the battery acid fumes GROW on you. Kinda like farm folks get used to cow manure.

Ha the placement of the battery is temporary until I have it 100% running. It will be in a seal box located in what's left of the trunk.

I have to give you props in that one, nreid90. That is one of the most unusual and wild builds I've seen anywhere. I've thought about doing an mr2 or fiero build, but a 240sx? Impressive.
