My only gripe is the flares. Aside from that, it's a sweet ride. I'm all for diversity. Besides, the Ford guys should be used to Chevy engines being stuffed in the blue oval.

The flares were mandatory, the front suspension is C5 vette. Its about a foot wider then a standard Mustang.Made the car fit the suspension rather then the suspension fit the car{handles better that way.The car is made of left over junk from previous projects, have less the $7,000 at this point. http://mysite.verizon.net/ls6ron/

I thought it was the car from the power block (can't remember the name of the show)
But wow nice ride man.. I had to laugh at the ford blue paint job on the motor.. nice touch actually.

Seen the car over at CC.com. Very nice looking build. Can't wait to see it "done" and what kind of laps you'll be putting down.

Yeah, I've got a ton of misc pics hanging around my harddrive. I'm about ready to fire it up in the next couple of weeks. I'll make a build thread of my own then. Stay tuned! And yes, c6zo6 binders up front; working on the rears as well but I might end up swapping out to ctsV brakes--the ZR1s are going to be a bit out of my price range @ $1200 a rotor.

I know it has to be here, but I can't seem to find it in a search.I'm hooking up my alternator{which is a 4 wire C5 vette peice} and I don't know where the 4 wires go.The one wire F body ones I can find but no Vette. Thanks Ron

The build looks F'n killer and I love it, but I would of had a GT500 motor in there over the LSx.

here is 1 the owner of Speed Inc did with an 03-04 motor & T56

http://www.speedinc.com/ptsc/67GT500.cfm

and he is working on another now with a GT500 motor & T56

http://www.speedinc.com/ptsc/67GT500_2.cfm

good luck getting it running and completed...it will be awesome!

Finally took the car for a spin, runs pretty good but was being hit with gravel off the front tires.Zo6 cam is the mildest sounding thing i have ever heard,i see a cam swap in its future.Ron
