LQ4 into 66 Chevelle
Can anyone tell me what front drive setup I will need to make an LQ4 work/fit in my 66 Chevelle? I can't seem to get a straight answer on this....
By the way, I plan to run a carbed intake and I have no A/C. I just want to run my power steering, alternator, and a water pump (of course).
Thanks in advance!

Badtomatoes,
I have seen pictures of people who have run the truck accessories in an A-Body as well as the F-Body accessories and the vette accessories also. Every application is it's own journey. I am using the F-Body accessories in my '67 Chevelle myself, but my journey isn't complete yet. Far from it. Most use the F-Body or vette accessories for an A-Body.

My son and recently installed a LQ9 in a 1966 GTO (as part of a total rebuild of the car). We used S & P block plates and fabricated our own frame stands. We used the truck pulley setup that came on the engine, and everything fit in the GTO AFTER we changed the Power Steering Pulley to a smaller diameter one found in a ford econoline van (See the stickys above for information on this). We replaced the truck oil pan with a camaro pan for ground clearance issues. Hope this helps.
