Tim @ V&P is the man, hard to beat his attention to detail, skill, and the absolute cleanliness of a car's entire setup when it leaves his shop.
Jason's Impala is an absolute work of art, I've spent hours looking at the details and still find new stuff everytime I look at it.
Jason is chomping at the bit to get his car done and hit the streets.

Looks great, what are you going to do with intercooler? My car didnt have any room in front of the core support, and I refused to cut anything up.

That car is sick man... I cant wait to see that sucker finished, and see some driving vids. He BETTER get some vids of it running driving!!! There is just something really cool about twin turbo piping in a car like that. The mess of tubing just looks like a work of art.

Thanks for sharing!

It is mounted right in front of the core support. Jason did cut two tear drop shapes for the top of the intercooler to fit through so it didn't hang to low in the front. I'll try and get pics before the body comes off for frame powdercoating.
He did cut the original inner fenders out before bringing it in to Tim for the fabrication which is a crying shame, because they really only needed very minor trimming at the bottom of the lip. So he is buying two new inner fenders that will make the engine compartment look a lot cleaner (the inner will be trimmed to fit just up to the downpipes).

Everything is blown apart for powder coating. Right now body shell is sitting in the shop, the frame and all parts are out for powdercoating, and the real engine is being assembled for installation once everything comes back. There will be a month or so downtime while he waits for parts to come in.
Tim took a bunch of pictures as it was coming apart, I'll try and get them tomorrow and post 'em up.
