Default lt1 in 65 skylark. Do I need a new oil pan?

I'm trying to figure out if the stock pan will work or if there is one special made. Also which motor mounts do I need to use to get it mounted? Thanks

1965 SBC mounts should put you in the same place as a SBC Chevelle w/ SBC since the LT1 blocks accept SBC mount locations. This will let the 93-97 F or 96 B/D-body pan clear without issue.

With F-body passenger side accessory bracket, you may have a compressor/frame interference issue. I've never seen a 78-88 A/G-body that the F-bracket didn't work on; the B/D bracket puts the compressor farther out or down. Y-body accessories and you'd be good to go. Or notch the frame a bit. Also the AC hoses at the back of the comp. are tight to the mount.

Thats exactly what I was looking for thanks a lot. I think I might relocate the alternator. Most likely I will get rid of the ac so that solves that part. Thanks again.
