Default RX7 swap coming along

I picked up the LS1 from my dads friend for absolutely FREE it's from a 98 camaro. Anyways i decided to just play pretend for a minute and using my cherry picker i lowered it into the engine bay just to see how much room i'm going to have. Well i'm going to have alot more room than i thought. It's a bit tight on the sides but plenty of room up front! althought if my prentendination was close i'm going to need a new hood as it looks like the intake manifold will cause clearance issues.. just curious isn't their a difference in the heads design from the early ls1s to the later ls1s?

Samberg, Hinson, and the Granny low mount kit do not have hood clearance issues. You can find info about them at V8RX7froum.com

Have you heard of Hinson? They're in Alabama too so shipping would be fast. Post up a pic.

I'll be putting an L92 into my FC. Got the hinson kit. Still hunting parts though. Transmission, PCM and some misc stuff.

The forum mentioned above is excellent.
