wtb.......c5 balancer
Where in the heck can I get an Harmonic balancer for the cts-v and c5 front drive assemblies??
I bought the kit from Chevrolet (part # 19155067)that includes everything to run the Corvette accessories, the balancer part # they recommend (12620556) is on galactic back order
part# 12599862 and 12601402 that Chevrolet says will also work with my drive kit but those to are on infinate back order
even the std balancer that works on an 97-04 c5 is on back order, evrything for sale that i have found in classifieds is all F-body stuff and really dont want to spend the money on a high dollar ATI, if any one can help me i would really appreciate it..
i have currently an 6.0 with i believe the gto/f-body balancer and it sits to far forward. I honestly dont know why Chevrolet didnt include it in these packages, they are only $130.00 more
thanks

We have a lot of Corvette only collision, sales & specialty warehouse type business's here where I live, so this is where I got my vette pulley/dampner from. Really quick too, I might add. Saturday mornings, everyone at these shops are in a less serious mood too, if you know what I mean...and more willing to take the time to spend with you. Good used parts, in general, sell for approximately half of new retail price. Good luck.

I have a C5 ASP brand new underdrive pulley...summit send me the wrong one. I installed it...noticed it didnt line up and they will not take it back because it has installment marks on it.
Pulley was like 200+ and charged shipping. I will take 150.00 you pay shipping.
THE PULLEY IS PERFECT.
I put it on and took right off...my conversion has a f-body pulley system. So the belts didn't line up.

"Are you allowed to say what business?"...The rinky dink vette shop I got mine at is now out of business. Vette collision shops do nothing but tear crashed vettes apart to scavenge parts & pieces to repair other cars. Every larger city seems to have these types of shops. Check these types of small businesses out, is all I'm suggesting.
