For the oil pressure, several of us are doing this:

The piece that is bolted to the side of the oil pan is a part of the F-body oil pans. Just unbolt it, drill it, & then tap it for the oil pressure fitting/sender/adapter for whatever gauge you're using.

Hope this helps.

Yea it does! I just put one of those on my 6.0 that was off my 5.3 because it was blocked off, 6.0 had oil cooler. That's exactly what I will do!
Tnx
What do you guys do for temp gage?

The PCM doesn't really use the oil pressure sensor input. If you can not use the blockoff/oil cooler plate, do away with the OEM oil sendor and put a adpter there, I broke off the plastic part and drilled/tap it for 1/8" NPT and just put my sender there.

For the water temp. you have a few options.. 1) remove the plug in the passenger side head and either us a adapter, drill and tap or get a aftermarket sendor for that plug thread size. 2) drill and tap into the water pump.

yea, that's what I was thinking. The motor is carburated so it shouldnt be a problem, thanks a lot for the info. It's a 6.0 bored 20 over with hot cam kit & rpm intake. Gonna get ready to put it in this weekend, want to paint engine compartment first. Gonna run my Muncie behind it. Get som pics up soon.
Tnx
