You will need a high pressure fuel pump and a modified or custom engine harness at least. You will also need a hydaulic clutch set up. Use the search function and read the Stickys at the top of the page. There have been a lot of 1st Gen Camaro swaps so there is plenty of info for you. Just have to look for it.

I went with the Carshop 1" set back mounts so that my turbo 400/gearvendor could stay where they were with the SBC in the car and I am using the sheetmetal Champ pan. You can modify stock F body pan but you lose oil qaunity and some of the baffeling needs to be removed so I was uncomfortable with that and the Champ pan looks great and will work in a road race type car or a drag car. As far as headers--I will let you know in about 2 weeks--I am crossing that bridge now!

You need to check your T56 if it came out of a car earlier than '98 if it did then you will be better off finding a LS1 T56, if it has a slave mounted on the outside of the bellhousing it will be earlier than '98 and from a LT1 car they are not the same.

I am using a Moroso LS1 pan with remote mount filter and Hooker part# 2288-1 headers with the Hooker mount plates part#12611HKR. You will have to fab your trans mount but not a big deal.

billy, what version of the t-56 are you running? is it one of the viper versions with the modified input shaft?
