V8roadsters mounts the engine 1/4 of an inch from the firewall. Some modifying of the trans tunnel is necessary but is very easy compared to all the other work involved in the swap. It also retains the stock steering location which is very important in Miatas which are otherwise susceptible to 'bump steer'. BossFrog and Racing Concepts do not offer this function. V8roadsters also stands by all its costumers to guide them through the ups and downs. I got mine in the mail a week ago, and I literally started drooling. The welds were so perfect and beautiful, and my control arms and steering rack fit on like a glove. Its powder-coated black and uses the NB suspension geometry points for better steering. You'd be a fool not to go with v8 roadsters. Just don't buy their rear end kit. Go with an rx-7 turboII. It'll hold up 2 just as much power as a ford 8.8, but will bolt right in place. Hope this helps
