Do you think it is better to use the Fbody headers or the truck headers from pacesetter? I had intentions of just using the stock manifolds but I am reading that they might even need some frame removal and if I am going to do all that cutting then I should just get headers and cut. But I guess if we build our own mounts there is room to raise motor up to clear frame, to a certain point I know.

I will keep my eye on the thread, going to sub to it now. but on my truck, I am not going to do alot of stuff. 1 being cost and 2 being that this is a "family truck"; wife's G-father bought it NEW and he sold it to me after we got married, this was a major thing for him to liquidate, he was smart though, he knew he was getting old and didnt need some things. SO I want to perserve alot of the truck as it was but I can not get the TQ out of the 350 nor the MPGs I can get out of this 6.0/A4 set up with the 350/350 set up, you know....so i do not do alot of things to the truck.

here's pics of what I'm using....these are frame stands and mounts from a mid 80's truck I think. I used the plates from CarshopInc you can get on ebay ($50) to mount block to the upper half of the old truck mount.
