Default looking for some input

so ive been looking into picking up a cheap 98-02 f-body (v6, high milage, ect.) and swapping a bigger LSX engine into it like an LS2 or 3, or 7 if i come into some money lol.

just wondering if there would be any magor issues with this? seems like the engine should basically just bolt right in, wiring im not to sure about.

any input from someone thats done this or looked into it would be great.

Thanks
Shawn

you would be better off looking for a ls1 car with high mileage, blown engine, trans, etc.

if u have the man power and time --- do the v6 swap otherwise dont have to mess with the wiring etc on a v8. pull the v8 out , upgrade it and put it back in

would there be any disadvantage to starting with an LT car? (other then the fact i like the way the LS cars look better) breaks, suspention, rear end, all that stuff would be getting changed so i guess bolting on some new sheet metal wouldnt be too much extra work

would an LS2 be able to use the factory LS1 wiring?
