Default VSS Question...

Is VSS signal different between Corvette C5 and Camaro? Don't both use 40 tooth wheel for driveshaft revs, or is signal from C5 after rearend gears, so ratio should be further modified?

2002 corvette fly-by-wire LS1 bolted to 4L60E swap into chevelle.

PCM was flashed with 02 Corvette program, modded for rear end ratio (3.31) and tire size (26.7).

PCM reports car it doing 150+ MPH when only going about 20, so motor shuts down.

If C5 is like C6 and my memory is up to scratch, the reluctor is on the ring gear in the diff/transaxle.
