Summit, Jegs and the pick and pull.

You can get an entire harness off a car, relays and connectors, for under $50. Grab 2 cars worth of wire, the price guy will charge the same either way.

BMW's often have trunk mounted batteries. that will give you long runs of heavy cable.

I have 3 buckets of different colored wire and relays. Good for several more swaps.

2nd the pick and pull... I've gotten metric **** tons when needed... I just look for the newest car and use that. Sometimes they charge me, sometimes they don't even worry about it if I'm getting other hard part.

Wiringproducts.com has an assortment of automotive relays, circuit breakers, fuse boxes, etc. I like McMaster-Carr for convoluted nylon wire loom (cheap and available in 5ft lengths minimum). There's also Heywire.com. For correct GM colored wire (with stripes), EFI Connection has it all but you'll pay. Perhaps in that case you're better off with a pick-n-pull harness you can rob from as Pop N Wood suggests.

Del City is another (the interface looks suspiciously like Andy1's wiringproducts.com)...

I see I made an error: Heywire.com should be Haywire.com-Sorry 'bout that.

Guess I should have checked the exact address. Try this one http://haywireinc.com/

But I suppose we do have an addiction to conversions, so perhaps that additction site was appropriate

I have a complete Engine Bay Harness and Fuse Box from a mid 90's Camaro that has been working very well for me as far as extra wiring and stuff.
