Default Wrangler pics

It is alive.

Started it up last weekend. The 3" exhaust sounds great.

I was hoping to have it done for the Power Tour but it's not quite ready.

Default LS6 Wrangler

The first rock chip is the tuff one.

The engine is a 2000 LS1 that had some piston slap. I had Schwanke rebuild it. Mahle pistons 10.5 CR, LS6 heads and cam, Comp cams 1.85 roller rockers and the BBK intake. I think about 425 hp at the crank or maybe a touch more.

I will dyno it at Car Craft Nationals in July and report back.

Needs to be 325 hp on the chassis dyno to beat my friend Mr. Josh Kunkel and his 89 LS1 Camaro. If I do better than Josh he will spend untold amounts of money to beat me!

Thanks for all the help on this forum!

WOW that looks amazing, I'm a Jeeper so I just want to it! The intake manifold looks awesome too, did you paint it or have it powdercoated?

Did you buy your radiator off the shelf or have to have it custom made?

Default 98 Wrangler

I bought the BBK used and had it painted the same as the Jeep.

The radiator is from Novak designed to be a direct bolt in. I have one my 6.0 Jeep and it works great.
